In August 2022 our owner, Kylie, and some of our management team and crew ventured to Sydney for the NSW Tourism Awards. This is a night that showcases the best and brightest tourism operators in the state, and was honoured by the Minister for Tourism, the Hon Benjamin Franklin MLC.
Tweed Eco Cruises won Bronze in the EcoTourism category and was honoured to be presented with Gold in the Tour and Transport Operator category for the second consecutive year. For a small, women-led business in a regional NSW location, this was a hug achievement.
Kylie would like to thank all Tweed Eco Cruises guests, crew, and local community for the support. After a tough few years in our region this award will be treasured greatly for many years to come. It also drives us to continue to be the best, and hopefully will see us with a third win and place in the Hall of Fame come 2023!
