Enjoy a morning tea cruise on the Tweed River discovering local shipwrecks, ancient Aboriginal history, scenic views of a rich and diverse region, and local tour of Fingal.

Depart Tweed Marina and journey to Ukerabagh Island (birth place of Neville Bonner – Australia’s First Indigenous Senator), then on the search for one of our local ship wrecks (The Ebenezer) before beach landing at Fingal for a local tour.

For those who don’t mind an extra stroll, and are looking for a special add-on feature (optional) you can engage in an insightful look into our first people with Currie Country (the Traditional Owner’s of Fingal) where they provide a guided walk down to the beach discussing their cultural significance, the flora & fauna, the 6 seasons and when to harvest food, the story of the black dog spirit that roams Fingal and deeper insights of living traditionally on Country.

Optional ADD-ON

Come take a walk with a Currie Country member to Fingal Beach.  On this guided tour will follow the bush track down to the beach.
Along the way we will discuss traditional uses of plants and the significance of the places, to our people.
